Parties and subject

These terms govern the use of the BüroPilot web application between the operator of BüroPilot.ch and you as a customer.

BüroPilot is business software for creating offers, invoices and payment reminders. It is not tax, legal or accounting advice.

Account and trial

• You need an account to use the application. The information you provide must be accurate and kept up to date.
• The free trial runs for the period stated on the pricing page and requires no payment details.
• You are responsible for the confidentiality of your credentials and for the activity of users you invite.

Subscription and payment

• Subscriptions are billed monthly or yearly in advance, in Swiss francs, plus VAT where applicable.
• A yearly subscription is charged for twelve months and renews unless cancelled before the renewal date.
• You can cancel at any time with effect from the end of the current billing period. Payments already made are not refunded pro rata.

Acceptable use

• Do not use the service unlawfully or to send documents to recipients who did not agree to receive them.
• Do not attempt to bypass access controls, overload the platform or reverse engineer it.
• Content you create remains your responsibility, including the correctness of amounts, VAT rates and legal references.

Your data

Your clients, offers, invoices and reminders belong to you. We process them only to deliver the service, as described in the privacy policy.

You can export your data at any time and after cancellation for a reasonable transition period.

Availability and changes

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted operation. Maintenance is announced in advance whenever possible on the system status page.

We may change or extend features. Material changes that reduce the agreed scope will be communicated before they take effect.

Liability

To the extent permitted by law, liability is limited to intent and gross negligence. We are not liable for indirect damage such as lost profit or the consequences of incorrect entries in your documents.

Governing law

Swiss law applies. Place of jurisdiction is Zürich, Switzerland, unless mandatory law provides otherwise.
